

Momir Nikolić was a former intelligence and security officer of the Bratunac Brigade of the VRS. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 20 years in prison. (Case number: MICT-14-65).
The case against RS Army officers Momir Nikolić and Dragan Obrenović was separated from the co-accused after they pleaded guilty. They later testified for the prosecution in the case against Blagojević and Jokić.
Nikolić acknowledged the intentions of the VRS and submitted a "Statement of Facts and Acceptance of Guilt" along with an agreement with the prosecution.
“I made the decision myself to come before this honorable Court and admit that a crime occurred in Srebrenica in which I too participated and for which I expect an adequate punishment. I sincerely wish to express, before this honorable court and public opinion, and especially to the Bosniak community, my deep and sincere regret and remorse for the crime that occurred, and to apologize to the victims, their families, and the Bosniak people for my participation in that crime.”
